A Poem by saratogaparty

(Your Name Here):

Hey,

stop that.

What are you

Doing messing around up there

In my tired mind? You’re scratching

The new upholstery

Tossing around folders erratically

The ones that assist me in remembering

Why it is you’re mad as hell and

Why it is

My face is in my hands again and

I’m sorry.

Inventive. Always a certain lapidary dignity and elegance in your engraveing.I
wish I could sit at your knee and watch you carve on stone.

I'm an interior decorator by unofficial trade
