There I see God...A Poem by Sarat Chander
There flows a brook,
That ever remains so stately in bliss For all, no human life ever cares to look, So gentle, it shaped itself to kiss Those mountains ever that stood far so romantic In its gesture, far so magnanimous In its virtue, far so gigantic In its posture, She remained anonymous. Fragrance of her lips mingled Among those forest The calmness of her eyes sprinkled Beyond those eternal garden that ever manifest Those angelic sparkles ever meant to twinkle They all, stood so romantic far away from evil clutches of human So in elegant dance, they all were littered By mother nature, with compassion confluence in common. I do never perceive god in those any human's temples Rather, I do see it here divinity's meaning at last in these rocks That ever speaks honesty even in their pebbles So romantically, So blissfully every quantum of nature mocks At me, forever asking me irresolute questions about mortality... Of my petty human cosmopolitan life, I had ever incurred. © 2016 Sarat Chander |
