Equations of love...

Equations of love...

A Poem by Sarat Chander

So many distances are left unmeasured

Between the virtues of heart and mind;

I stand in this vastness, never yet explored

By anyone or by any godly lovers being so blind;

Now, every mesh of my heart remains empty

And every reason that flames and enriches my neurons

Remain so fragile in so many ways;

My very perception goes untouched and it reasons,

How my flamboyant emotions dart?

Now, I turn more skeptical

Even near the meaning of roses and thorns;

Do these hearts made of mortal skins?

That every lover is seeking;

Are these minds, a fairy-tale of neurons?

By how every genius and psycho perceive this world;

It's unknowingly fascinating

That birth of every dogma devastates me.

It's only the heart's rhythm

Which bids me so many good-byes?

All I feel, the very essence of true heart,

Never kisses the earthly love;

Now, I stand near the heaven

Though no one knows where it lies;

Truly I never know

Where the holy god lives;

All I turn irrational,

Being near this nebulous true love;

For all, my mind unlocks every impulse of my heart on all above;

At last, I surrender to my everlasting love

Despite, nothing is immortal.
