Interesting use of the author's note. I'm not sure if that was intentional or just 'careless'. I felt you sketched the theme of the poem nicely. You present us with a woman who has lost not only her love, but also the chance to have kids or "sucklings" as you put it. Which she feels is a dwindling opportunity "for time is for thee to spare not likewise is for me" and so she broods over what could have been.
