The Ghost In the Mirror

The Ghost In the Mirror

A Poem by Sara Elyse Abrams

Everytime I look in the mirror I see it.

That thing,

It haunts me.

Every mirror,

Every reflection,

All the same;

A reflection on a monster.

I am the only one who can see it,

So people call me delusional.

I know what I saw though,

And nothing you say will change that.

I think that might be the old mirror I threw out. I know the feeling though I think most do. Totally relatable
