Ablaze

Ablaze

A Poem by Navatechs LLC

In the depths of my solitude
I find an emptiness
That cannot be reconciled
A fire that is burning
Blazing
But unseen
A word on my tongue
With the ink dissolving
Slowly
Surely
And always burning holes
Into the patterns of my tongue
And the open wounds
Of my being
Without warning
Or trigger
I come undone
Burning at the seams
That you left searing in my soul.

This is excellent! It flows nicely and has a lot of emotion behind it. I really love the confusion that you use to create an image of this emptiness that has become a part of the body/mind/soul.

The first thing I am going to say is that I can really relate to this poem. Your choice of words is perfect. It's lyrical, dark and beautiful. Well done!
