Darkness and lightA Poem by Jess QunaA bit to reassure my friend though he'd be worried because of my sceptisism...In the darkness is where I'm living, In the darkness is where I write, Everyone keeps complaining, Even though they're in the light.
You tell me come out, You tell me leave it behind, All this darkness and all the doubt, You should step into the light.
Yet I ask you 'why should I When darkness is so safe and calm', And I can tell that you will lie, And say there is no pain at all.
When I point it's to all the others standing in the light, 'What's with them' I demand to know, You tell me 'they fight'.
'With whom and why' is what I ask, Yet no answer shall I recieve As they aren't happy in the light, While it's the darkness you want me to leave.
