New Years EveA Poem by not meSelf explanitory...I saw someone I liked in a bar on New Years Eve
Holding myself back
From breaking through Just to touch your skin Just to be near you. Last night you were pouring drinks, And last night I watched you. I could only smile. This is nothing new. I'm going to have to move on, And make sure it's soon. I'm going to have to realise That I wasn't made for you. This will be my resolution. I cried for you so far away. You slowly disappeared. I spent the night beneath your cloud Wishing you were here. I'll tell you in my slumber, And i'll keep you there. I'll cradle you. I'll kiss your hair. And when I wake Should you be gone? My memories of you will linger on. I'm going to have to move on And make sure it's soon. I'm going to have to realise That I wasn't made for you. You were made for me. I was never made for you. © 2008 not meReviews
