I Died That Day

I Died That Day

A Poem by Sarah Lynn
"

Inspired by a movie I once saw

"
Its dark...and cold.
Its wet and soggy.
It seems to be I am underground.
Buried.
Deep within the ground.
Why you might ask?
A prank that had gone terribly wrong.
I'm the ugly geeky girl, who has no friends at all.
Some popular kids thought it would be funny to give me a call.
Sent me to a hotel room, hidden camera in the corner.
Met up with the guy that had invited me over.
I heard the laughs beyond the walls.
Head getting a bit fuzzy, I start to fall.
All the other kids come rushing through the door.
Only to laugh at the now " Geeky W***e "
I get back up, confronting them face to face.
Go to throw a swing, maybe put one in their place.
I miss them though, now i'm getting beaten.
Hitting my head unfortunately on the way down.
The room suddenly goes quiet, and they all begin to frown.
Realizing i/m dead, just a lifeless corpse now.
This is why I was buried in the ground.
Little do they know though that I am now alive.
Again.
Studying witchcraft tends to make the rules of life bend.
I grabbed a spell before I walked out the door.
Now i'm alive and so much more beautiful than before.
I look like a model, on Monday they'll be shocked.
Not only by my beauty but how I intend to make them suffer and rot.
I have special powers now, this will be fun.
Their going to kill themselves slowly.
One..by one....bye one.

There is one line maybe two that doesnt really flow because most of the poem rhymes but hey! Thats alright . No poem is wrong or incorrect right ? Just thought I would point it out before others do .

if this was a real girl (the ''geeky one'') i would embrace her and show her that there are good ppl in this world.
I really like the way you are telling the girl's story in a 'poetic fashion'. Great rhymes and very well written! :D *High Five*

Thank you ! And alrighty I will be sure to do that !
Amazing theme to talk about!! I'm actually working on a project which has the same sort of idea... Girls need to be aware of the power that lies within n' understand the strength of their inner beauty... as we all blv that within every girl there's a sexy, strong and gorgeous model, only waiting to be identified by oneself !

I find this revenge seeker girl very interesting though, hahaha

Its called Tamara, and thank you lol
What movie was the influence for this? At first, I thought it was Jawbreaker because of a prank gone wrong but the girl who died in that was popular. I also thought of the original Carrie, only she more or less committed suicide via telekinesis. The poem's making me want to see the movie!
