Me, Myself & I

A poem about .. well me !

Long brown hair, doesn't ever seem to care.

Smart and outgoing, yet its never really showing.

Friendly, with a big heart , most people think she doesn't look the part.

Sensitive and emotional, filled with deep thoughts. 

No one would guess though, no one would have ever thought.

Afraid of life and all that's out there.

You would never really guess for she seems so brave.

Giving advice to others what seems to be everyday.

Giving and loving , she just wants a perfect life. 

Always willing to sacrifice. 

Never looks up to god so you'll never see her pray. 

If he had any type of control why would he make peoples lives the way they are today?

Enjoys dressing in black, clothes always tight. 

Sometimes dressing risque can be alright. 

Not much of a day person , mainly prefers it dark. 

I swear my souls not dark , i do have a heart. 

Animal lover ever since birth. 

At any age you can still catch her playing outside in the earth.

Brown eyes you would never forget, they're her favorite feature 

Debating on a topic? Shes a great preacher.

Still growing and learning, hasn't quite found herself.

She'll be a great person though, without a doubt.

Interesting.

I find that most people have no clue who they are or what they really want, even when they look deep. I believe that is because we are constantly changing, altered a little bit by everything we perceive. Self-discovery is a lifelong journey and can never fully be captured in any format but the raw essence of our souls.

It is in our art that we provide a snaphot of one tiny piece of the puzzle.

Your writing isn't entirely narcissistic, but it sounds like your ego compels your actions and beliefs. So, tell me, is this about who you are by your own opinion? Or perhaps who you are, merely and only, in relation to other individuals and their philosophies (and accepted dogmas)?

It was meant to be about me , not how others view me. In reality im a very narcissistic person but not conceited. Wasnt sure what you meant by that kind of sounded like you called me conceited haha

Conceited? No. But perhaps a person not entirely conscious of their own selfhood. You made yourself sound so shallow and conformed, which I doubt you are. I think you should have dived deeper into your idiosyncrasies and nature, and how they compel you to do what it is you do. Humans are complex, more complex than any writing, so surely a nature of one can not be captured in a little writing, but, at the very least, you could have blurted about your not-so nice abnormalities and (sub)conscious sentiments.
