The Selfish Man

Inspired by one of my friends

This girl, she is stupid with her ways.

Always believes everything he says.

She doesn't see the real person he is.

Relaxing and movies whenever together, but he leaves her he could really care less.

Come over here baby let me lay on your chest.

Let me hold you and kiss you and have you fall in love.

Then the minute I have you i will surely be gone. 

For i do not care about anyone but myself, as long as i got what I need that's all that counts.

Alot of guys do this unfortunately, some people just don't have a heart, unfortunately some men are very cruel.
I like this poem its very truthful and sad has lots of emotion, you really put your heart into this one.

You know Sarah Lynn, this is so sad but so real. The fact that someone can come along, steal your heart and leave it shattered on the ground is one of the most wicked pains anyone can feel. I have seen this, time and time again they go back only to find exactly what they left in the first place. You have spoken well in this...don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This isn't precisely a poem, as there is no rhythm to the lines. The last line in particular stands out for this.

Also, it appears that 'is' is meant to rhyme with 'less'...?

Haha, how ironic it is that I read this since its quite relatable to what I am experiencing. It's sad that some men are actually like this and just use girls to get what they want. Only giving them attention when they have the time. My ex was also like this, so I've been in these shoes before, if not now. Terrible to think that I am headed down the same road now...

Yeah , well i dont wish it upon anyone so hopefully you wont be . Two of my friends are kind of going through something like this and they ALWAYS go crawling right back to them and makeup . Makes me furious. Just want to slap a brain inside their heads sometimes .
