We Lost Ourr Way

For someone who used to be special to me. We are no more.

How did we ever let our love get that way.

Our bright and sunny days soon faded to grey.

You stole my heart in a matter of days.

But those days are nothing but a memory now.

Thought we'd make it but i was oh so wrong.

Our relationship didn't even last that long. 

Were we foolish for even trying to make it work?

As the time went on you turned into a jerk.

I got miserable and you did to. 

Fighitng constantly about things to do.

We ruined friendships just to give it a try.

I guess sooner or later everyone has to say goodbye.

So goodbye to you it was fun while it lasted.

Unfortunately though, we never stood a chance.

I guess its just all apart of gods brilliant plans.

This poem has really nice meter and rhyme. It goes along very fluidly when read aloud. I laughed at the line "As the time went on you turned into a jerk." Boy, have I had those relationships! lol One small piece of constructive criticism - take some time to proofread; it will make a great poem become absolutely spectacular. :)

Thank you , and to be honest i feel the exact same way about yours. Some poetry to me is hard to understand, like a bunch of jumbled words but yours actually says something and has meaning . I just enjoy it lol kudos to both of us i guess. We're just good ;) haha

I agree :) I barely know you and I can already tell you have a very complex mind and some day I hope I have the opportunity to explore it
