A father is every little girls first hero.

You're every little girls first love.

When you're with her, she has nothing to fear.

You're always around to wipe her tears.

You're tall and hairy but she'll never be afraid.

For you are the one who tells her to always be brave.

She'll always love and embrace your hugs, she never wants to let go.

You will always be the man that she loves the most.

She looks up to you , she always has.

For no one can ever replace the love a daughter has for her dad.

Although you say this isn't your best work - I think it's lovely. I could tell it was written from your heart and it truly touched my heart as well. Little girls (and big girls) are always daddy's girl - our father's are our first love and many times the one we compare every other love to... You have brought back lovely memories of my father.
