Where did the time go ?

Where did the time go ?

A Poem by Sarah Lynn
"

I wrote this poem when i was 15 i believe. I made it for my mom obviously. But hope you all enjoy it and give me some feedback i can learn from !

"
November 4th 1993
That's the day you gave birth to me.
Video recordings ever since  the age of two,
Just to remember all the things i do.
Cooked me breakfast, lunch and dinner
Every single day.
We also used to go out in the rain
To splash around and play.
If i came down with the flu, she was always the first
One with soup and tissues.
She would even fluff my pillow and tuck me  in !
I got older, she did to.
Harder to agree on things to do.
Now i'm in high school ,
Everything's changed.
Now that i'm older things will never be the same.
I thank her though,
Oh so dearly , for giving me all i could possibly dream.
I have no regrets , not one at all.
All i want to say is thanks! I love you mom!

What a lovely write of appreciation for your mom. I am sure she cherishes it till this day. So emotive. Moms do all that and don't even think about it, but to know your daughter appreciates it, well, that makes life so much sweeter. Thank you for sharing this with us. lydi**
