Quiet Time

Quiet Time

A Poem by The Adventure

"

A rustle in the leaves

Sun shining through the trees.

Cool breeze on my face

Gives me the feeling of God's grace.

Never noticed before

All his beauties galore,

From the many dancing branches

To all the singing finches.

Two trees seem to grow together

Shielding out the sunny weather

Casting shadows on the ground,

But with little sun-rays all around.

A picturesque scene,

Never in my life have I seen

A beauty unimaginable

My previous appreciation: laughable.

A wondrous world taken for granted

These enormous trees God planted

Show me why I'm really here

And why, I, exactly, have nothing to fear.
