A Hidden World

The ideas you can only wish to reveal

Inside you still keep hidden

A world unknown to us on earth

Until your dreams have all been ridden

The thoughts and loves, hopes and fears

A secret all your own

All of your oldest childhood dreams

No other have you shown

But in your head, it yearns to burst

This pain that grows inside

Your thoughts and feelings no one knows

But only can you hide

One day you'll write it down on paper

One day you'll show the world

What amazing imagination you have

What dreams can be unfurled!

But, imagination is a thing

Unknown to worldly men

You must show them what's inside us all

What treasure lurks within

Now I finish up this story

Hoping you all have learned

That from those "silly" fantasies you get

The long-awaited praise you've earned

I'll keep on wishing day and night

That maybe you will find

If you look deep enough you see

An hidden world inside YOUR mind!
