Untitled 1A Poem by The Adventure24 February 2010I see you, your eyes are mystifying. No, there's no denying How I really truly feel, Though I won't confess it real, And continue, to myself, the lying. My stomach begins to quake! There's a feeling I cannot fake. I won't confess it true, I won't get close to you, Because I don't want my heart to break! And now it's all a rhyme, Filling up my time. I'm counting every line, Wishing you were mine. And now I begin my downward climb. So, slowly I'll forget how blue Your eyes are, and your hair's dark hew. For never will I be, And never will I want to see, Myself anywhere close to you! © 2011 The Adventure |
