UnfamiliarA Poem by The Adventure18 February 2010Why do you make my heart race, In a pattern unfamiliar, In a way that's so peculiar, Why does it beat to your rhythm and pace? Why do your eyes make me melt? Underneath your dark hair. I can feel your presence everywhere. You make me feel like I've never felt. Your closeness turns me red, With your smile so divine, I feel your body next to mine, Something’s wrong in my head! But now, in your own face Something feels very, very wrong, Because I know I'll never belong In your arms, your sweet embrace. © 2011 The Adventure |
