Beauty In My Breakdown.

Beauty In My Breakdown.

A Poem by Sarah Jaymes

Hollywood can wait, I’m just writing my life away.

No big intentions, just a little something to relieve the tension.

I may not be the next best thing, but I can assure you I hold meaning.

It’s every word that breaks my bones, no longer standard sticks and stones.

Broken down & empty, is when I see your beauty.

Broken down & empty, is when I see your face.

Broken down & empty, is when I find my beauty.

Broken down & empty, is when I find my place.

Author's Note

Sarah Jaymes
What really helps me write is all the pain I have held inside, I hold these feelings captive. It's such a beautiful thing to find yourself at best when you're caught in the storm of your past. Nothing comes out more naturally to me, I am a very happy girl, but I see so much beauty in a deprived or depressed mind-set.

We have a heightened sense of awareness through struggle-- nice message.

I like the form this took-- very creative.

A beautifully accentuated piece of work.
I love the letter fade at the end, nicely done.

This is so incredibly lovely
It has a marilyn monroe feel with a mix of my some of my favorite songs from todays music
