Earthquake.

Earthquake.

A Poem by Sarah Jaymes

I'm at an all time high, saying hello to the ones waving goodbye.
Sometimes this world never slows down, I'm saying hello when there’s no one around.
Maybe maddening, chaos, is all we hear, and every time we run, we run in to the fear.
And I can’t seem to stand still when we’re all just racing, reaching for a thrill.
That’s when they call you, grasp you to the time, take everything you think, brainwash your mind.
A tidal wave of words, honesty and mistakes, give everything you have, just to feel this earthquake.
