I think what makes looking at the stars so special isn't the actual view itself. Its the feelings and emotions you get while staring up in space. After all, the sky just looks like some silver glitter splattered on black paper. But what makes it so special? What is our subconsciousness going through while we silently stargaze? You realise that you're alive. You're breathing. You're a being amongst so many others. You form part of something bigger. You then feel grateful for that. You realise that the world turns around you and it will keep turning long after you're gone. You realise that another person will one day sit right at the exact spot as you are and the same thoughts will run through his mind. "What am i doing here?""Am i happy?" "How can i make this world a better place?" Common questions which sometimes torment one's inner peace. Unanswered questions. Mysteries unsolved. Sometimes i wonder if we should just let nature take its course. It may be better for all of us.
