Writer's Block

Writer's Block

A Poem by sarah

I find it a bit hard- life I mean…
Having all the inspiration in the world
But not being able to do anything with it.
Passion waiting to burst from my heart
And onto this blank sheet of paper
My thoughts are all mumbled and jumbled
I can make nothing of them.
I want to unleash this words that cause my heart to ache
But they'll destroy everything around me- everything you and I see.
I look at the tip of my fingers and all of a sudden, I don't know who I am.
Not being able to use your talent.
Not being able to show the world all the strength and emotion you have buried deep inside of you.
Artists suffer more than anyone could ever imagine.

This is so true! This was a good way to describe that damned little block we writers eventually experience--the lack of ability to craft the words you /want/ to say, that you /can/ say, but you can't.
