Nightwinged Bird

Nightwinged Bird

A Poem by Sarah Crimson
"

I wrote this when I saw how easily people become changed to become like one another. How aweful society is at sucking the things that makes us individual out of us.

"
Nightwinged bird,
Hidden by angel's guise,
Ever miss those days,
Those free nightfilled skies?
Surrounded you are,
By doves of white and grey,
When ever you are longing,
Longing for night skies,
Days long past now,
That feeling oh so high.
Granted you are low,
Not entirely you,
Changing your appearance,
Never changing you.
Open up your nightwings,
Once again you fly,
And if ever they disgrace you,
Right by those white winged doves, fly.

You have brought a beautiful medium to our eyes, so that we can better see the lack of individuality in our nation. I agree whole heartedly that so many are loosing thier ability to be their own persons. It's one part society setting the mold and pushing it onto people. It's another part, people not willing to take the dare and by themselves, rather than part of the BORG!

Great Ink!
