Atmospheres

Atmospheres

A Poem by Sarah Brayton.
"

1, 2, 3

"

atmospheres. (3)

why do you tell me these things
while i'm conscious
it makes it impossible to not
be again
your mindís seeds planted in my head
rooting themselves as i lay in bed
the night says hello
i try to depart
but i can't
because of your plant

+atmospheres. (2)
detatched
the flames from the rocket
falling, falling into the black
sparks: fire or stars?
make the world we live in
good to know you
before you crashed
not crashed, flew
suffocating in the dark
not slow but fast.
i'd forgotten what it's like
to be near this sunlight

+atmospheres. (1)
camps reaching into our minds
fusion of the sky
secret flowing
feather to tree
i've wanted this for a long time
but never you
or the symbolism in your soul
