breezy presence

I wrote this poem while enjoying some time alone.

Your touch is all that I remember,

As I dwell into that calm slumber.

I have tried to escape and see,

How my world with you will be!

I ain't unaware; how in my life you've spied,

May be that's why it is you alone to whom I may have cried.

I've heard you singing,

To those tunes which I have been missing.

I've seen you dancing,

And there is much more; which I still try grasping.

Are you really shy to speak?

But, listening to you my expectations don't go bleak.

I have seen your Strength,

You are surely not weak!

Nevertheless; I've never seen such as thee!

Wild and yet so free.

You have never changed your way,

"change your sails" you've commanded each day.

You have been warm, you have been cold,

In every way you taught me to be bold.

You have soothed me,

You have healed me.

Without you, I have seen the stillness of a feather,

Else, you have shuffled bricks together.

You are indeed that majestic wind,

Who has even helped me smell, the aroma of tamarind.
