Secret

Secret

A Poem by Sarah

Smile and I’ll give you the world, moon, and stars. Laugh and I feel as though I can cry from the sheer bliss of that wondrous sound. There are so many words to describe you, your traits, and your personality. They all get mixed up and jumbled in my thoughts. It’s like trying to decipher hidden messages from the gods. Knowing that when all is said and done, the laborious work complete, I will finally be able to know the secret. I will finally be able to comprehend what I’ve known all along. And with my newfound knowledge I would be able to understandably express to you what had been learned, the fear of rejection being of no concern. Rejection, a concept humans can live with. Not being able to understand and express to you how I feel, that I’m not sure I can live with for much longer. Not much longer at all

Most of what I write isn't planned. What I write is mostly words I can never say out loud. When I write I do so with passion and waves of energy...when the passion has died and the waves calmed I look.. more..
