Destroyed

A poem on everything that is wrong with out world.

The little girl with her soft heart
And sensitive touch
With big hopes and aspirations
Was forced to grow up
Rudely by life and its circumstances
By the cruel people that were
Keen on destroying this beautiful world
Who knew no love
And could spread only violent hatred.

The scared little girl 
With her now shattered dreams 
Is no longer innocent and happy.
She looks around her
Filled with rage and animosity
Her mind filled with vengeance
Against those monsters
Responsible for turning her life
Into a dark abyss of nothingness.

Sometimes the people around you have a deep impact on your life- the family you are raised up in and the friends in whose company you stay also have an impact. The world is a cruel place, it extorts happiness of others and shatters their dreams and aspirations. Your poem is quite nice and pictures the world quite well. I particularly like it when you call the people monsters- responsible for all the misery and pain. Isn't the world too selfish?
