I Fall

I Fall

A Poem by Sarah
"

A poem about a raindrop, falling through life. An adaption based upon our own lives through symbolism.

"

I fall from a cloud.

I fall from the sky.

I fall so far, from so high.

I fall through life,
with no hope in mind.

I fall past the towers in the sky,
only to be the raindrop that falls past your eye.

Oh.. it's seemed you've been off.. of this site since a very long decade. Anyway, nice flow of ink. Your verses're very beautiful as well as worth-reading themselves.
... would be looking to reading your stuffs!

very creative & unique. the thoughts of a raindrop, falling through the sky, unnoticed amongst the millions of other droplets, splashing on the ground. we are all just raindrops, falling through life amongst millions of other little raindrops. very imaginative & simply written which only adds to its charm & i love the metaphor. great write.

Well done. I like how this flows, nice and smooth. I see a symbolism in your poem that I wonder if you were conciously going for; are our lives simply raindrops in the infinite, no more , no less? Well done.

Great techique and approach, to pick one central object and use it in a metaphoric way.
Simple, yet has enough imagery and depth to make one think.

Keep on exploring and creating!
