Reflection

Reflection

A Poem by sarah
"

well i wrote this in my math class... soo tell my what you think:)

"

 I know somethings wrong

i can see i in your eyes

your empty soul is weeping for a touch

your eyes are bleeding from your heart

i can see your body breaking down,

for that something has hurt you,

you cant explain it to others

but your the only one who knows what hurts

your legs are crumbling every step you take

why cant i help you?

I'm standing here watching you break down,

watching your eyes in pain as they scream for me to do something

your blood is staining the ground

cant you see? you cant get any help

your soul crumbles to the ground as if it was just dust

no one cares, no one ever did, your worthless

I stand here like a stranger watching my own reflection.

an exteremely well written piece
as for the title being irrelevent, i propose that it is relevant if the author intended for the person looking on to be going through the same, or similar, struggle as the person he/she is wishing to help. just a thought -shrugs-

at any rate, great imagry, powerful words. nicely done :)

if theres anything i learned from reading this poem, its to not judge the content of a poem by the title of it

hah, an interestingly irrelevant title to a very descriptive poem, or maybe there is relevance? ofcourse, thats for only the author to know.
but your descriptions are very vivid, and you take us through this lonely suffering making us feel like WE want to do something to help as well, but as your words clearly stated, thats not possible.

very nicely written, nice voice and good grasp of the readers attention!
