Inkstained Love

Inkstained Love

A Poem by Isabelle Grace

You are the ink stain in my heart,

A beautiful addiction.

My love for you is bleeding,

Slowly, slowly, slowly.

A cup of tea, you are my soul.

I live for you, breathe for you

I enjoy this poems abstractness, because it lets one project ones own emotions into the poem. Sometimes poems are too direct and obvious with their themes, making it difficult for everyone to relate to it. This one provides good guidance on the overarching idea and leaves the details to be interpreted by everyone individually.
