Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Sara Bowering
"

My first "real" poem. I've dealt with depression throughout high school, and I think poetry is a good outlet to vaguely express how I felt during that time.

"
Instant uncertainty, severe adversity
I struggle to translate thoughts into words
We've crossed paths, but will we ever again?
Separation is heaven for me
But others refuse to comprehend
Countless times I've tried
But no one can fathom my desire to be alone
I am loved, yet concurrently, abandoned

Such kinda thoughts always come from the depth of the heart when we're alone. Loneliness's the way which help us releasing our feelings, emotions, pain and aches of heart go into the words through writing stuffs. Those stuffs which're written from with the heart always impacting the readers mind..because a reader always love reading real stuffs through the real feelings of heart reflects.

I adore this poem. It's well written!

What interesting insight into who you are. The first two lines were hook-line and sinker: really well written, really stood out, grab the readers attention. I can understand this emotion and relate to it a little bit. For me at least, it reminded me of the times I've been in a room full of people I know but felt like a stranger.
Thank you for sharing. :) Keep posting and sharing your work on Cafe.
