IsolationA Poem by Sara BoweringMy first "real" poem. I've dealt with depression throughout high school, and I think poetry is a good outlet to vaguely express how I felt during that time.
Instant uncertainty, severe adversity
I struggle to translate thoughts into words We've crossed paths, but will we ever again? Separation is heaven for me But others refuse to comprehend Countless times I've tried But no one can fathom my desire to be alone I am loved, yet concurrently, abandoned
