farewell

farewell

A Poem by Kara Emily Krantz

oh my love.

you touched me
and i trembled.

you kissed me
and i cried.

please do not forget me.

i am never far from you.

oh my love.

we lay wrapped
within each other
and i felt your heart
beat against my palm.

i will place this balm
upon my chest
and pray it penetrates
all the way through

for my heart is bleeding

it is bleeding for you.

please do not forget me.

for i am never far from you.

oh my love.

What a tender and absolutely marvelous verse about love and separation. I feel the tenderness and longing of this "clear to my toes"! Nice work, Kara!!

wow! what a voice, Kara!
I love this poem. I played this 3 times - and
always new and new feelings.
It was....absorbing, rich and satisfying
an empathetic farewell!
I like so much " i will place this balm
upon my chest
and pray it penetrates
all the way through "

what a beautiful image.
I love this poem.

Another truly lovely piece... Your work is heartwrenching...in a good way, of course! The flow of this piece was quite beautiful, although when I read it aloud, I read it a little quicker than you did in the Evoca...I just felt it had a faster tempo. Lovely work.

--again I was unable to choose just one stanza as my favorite! These were both beautifully brilliant.

Wow, how intense. The passion that you have flows through your words. Your heart and soul seem to do the typing for this poem. I have loved this deeply - and still retain those feelings for the love of my life (the woman I married) whenever we are apart.

You did well with this one - it is going into my favorites.

Wow. This piece is just beautiful. It hit me especially hard, as my relationship with the man I loved so dearly, and still do despite his feelings, just recently ended. We still remain close friends, and I would hope to God that he never forgets me. I will always remember that special feeling we shared for so long, even if he does not.

If I was the guy on the other end of this relationship, I could never forget you. Your passion for this person is very apparent. He is either unaware of this or he just doesn't care; and with that, it is time to move on. Psych. 101 LoL. Just kidden, If this has really happened to you, I'm very sorry.
