farewell

farewell

A Poem by Kara Emily Krantz

oh my love.

you touched me
and i trembled.

you kissed me
and i cried.

please do not forget me.

i am never far from you.

oh my love.

we lay wrapped
within each other
and i felt your heart
beat against my palm.

i will place this balm
upon my chest
and pray it penetrates
all the way through

for my heart is bleeding

it is bleeding for you.

please do not forget me.

for i am never far from you.

oh my love.

you have beautiful structure to this poem, and wonderful imagery, i can really see this and your feeling for this person.

it is rare that variations of this popular theme of heartbreak work deeply... this one is not one of those.

hmm yes it was good but not as strong as your other poems. at least thats my opinion. i DO love the phrase "oh my love" repeated throughout.

Beautifully written - tender and laced with sadness. Sweetly voiced also, a lovely piece!

This is beautiful and painful. The very aching in your breathy tone only added to the effect. Spentaculous job!

This poem has flow, feeling and truth in my opinion.
I am a "ham" for "cheese" personally as long as it envokes spirt, which in my humble opinion this poem has.AWESOME job! I love it !

This is lovely. Sometimes I'm pissed at myself for not being able to write soft words like this. Its very rare that I read anything like this without it seeming "cheese" (for lack of better terminology). But you have a way with gentile words... absolutely beautiful.

Oh, I am going to kick your butt. ;-) Why have you titled this "Farewell?" lol<

The evoca was superb. Clear, crisp, and very inviting. Your vocal chords gave incredible vibrancy to the words 'writ' herein. You have never ceased to charm me with your words. Your style has a wonderfully perceptible softness that touches the heart of every reader who ventures to become solemnly word-captured. ;-)

i will place this balm
upon my chest
and pray it penetrates
all the way through

Love, -Nihad
