Under your spell

By Alasse Fefalas

The shadows hid your flaws
Your features highlighted
Your smile so innocent
Your eyes so alluring

I smiled at your sweet face
My first mistake
I took your hand outstretched
My second mistake

You led us out of the shadows
Into the clear moonlight
You showed yourself
One so discernably inhuman

Demon, vampire, devil
With large black wings stretching
Bewitching eyes taking control
Pale arms snaking around my waist

Limbs move like a puppet's
While staring straight into your eyes
And I know then that I became
Completely and irrevocably
Under your spell
