Once again, it happens again. Hardships are that hard to overcome.

Then and Again

BY Alasse Fefalas

Once again
I'm stuck
Trapped in disillusion
Life's bane

Creativity is suffocated
I think nothing
Illusions have turned grey
Colours have surrendered

Happens over
I'm cheated
Swindled of feelings
Devil's cover

It's pitch black
I see nothing
Emotions cloud my judgement
Eyes unopened a crack

Repeated repercussions
I'm empty
Devoid of shame
Human's destruction

It's all monochrome
I hear nothing
Humiliations of defeat spread
Infamy to those who come

Nice flow, well written and full of depression. I wish there was a hint of light at the end to kind of ease the emptiness. What you write reflects in the reader. If you write of depression the reader should feel depressed. If you write of hope the reader should feel hope. I am not trying to tell you what to write because you should always write whatever you feel. But I know that when I write I try to add a hint of light or hope at the end to leave that bit of hope in the reader. This is well written and I deffinately felt your feelings in it that is why i suggest adding that hint of hope at the end. Very well written however and if you don't add the hope it won't diminish from it because it is what you felt when you wrote it and no reader could ask for more. I am just not the biggest fan of depressing poetry.
