Why am I so afraid?
Why do I hesitate?
I detest myself being like this
I can't tell them the truth

 

I can't bare to tell them
I fear their reaction
Will they hate me?
Will they still be friends with me?

 

I'm alone yet again
Even though I have friends
They do not know how I feel
Because I fear to tell them

 

Loneliness is a scary word
Yet it still is just a word
How can just a word scare you?
But yet still soothe you?

Very well put. Kind of a damned if you do or damned if you do not. The only solution is to be open as that will resolve the conflict. Those who are your friends will not care. Those who care are not your friends.
