AmourA Poem by DerieuxInfluenced by the song "Amour" by RammsteinLove, tills the fields of longing As you wake it seeds itself into your dreams, Taking root within the heart And blooming, in the night, Baiting promises in empty dreams
In its steps red roses grow, So you follow the bliss of its song In its web, it wraps you warmly in thread Its kiss coursing through your veins, It devours you slowly As you offer it another piece
Amour, All want nor claim you Destined our wanton hearts Walk your streets
Its nature, fickle as the seasons Warm and new, inviting as the beauty of spring Then a calm winter gently falls to earth A harsh chill yet to come
Often it visits me as I sleep It wakes me with only one kiss In arms reach its splendor slips my grasp Yet gifts its burning brand on my heart
In its steps red roses grow, You stumble upon their thorns, Where red roses cultivate by what’s bled Until the chambers of the heart stir dry, You pray it sutures the wound left there
Amour, Wildly you loose yourself at my heart Surrendering to you, you ravish it Agony matching the pain of your beauty © 2011 Derieux |
