A Poem by Derieux

Passing through onward underfoot
Unrecognized, stumbled and tread upon
Grounded, grinded by the mechanisms of disdain
Shrill screams muffled to murmurs cry out
Resounding unsounded to each ear
With rain falling to unfeeling eyes
Indifferent silence is all that replies
