Why I Hate Society, part 2

 

 

Barbie syndrome. Societies own standard of beauty. It is named after its creator. Barbie. If you didn't already guess it I am of course speaking of the doll. You see this is what makes men and women feel there ugly just because they don't have a waste like Barbie or abs like ken. I have met many very beautiful women who have had this problem with themselves, and every time it makes me sick. I have tried to tell a women of true beauty they are beautiful but as could be expected they don't listen to me, and seem to only pass it off as some kind words in hopes to make them feel better. But it never is. When I say it I mean it. And I have meant it every time I have ever said it. So with this you have a generation of men and women who have succumb to this syndrome. A generation longing for a thin waist tight abs and at least for the women large breasts. A whole generation of people looking in mirrors with disgust, dismay and depression. It is an unfortunate thing that has twisted the self image of so many. They are left only wishing to be someone else. A movie star, a model perhaps or even the original "beauty" herself Barbie. This sad problem leaves them seeing flaws in themselves that would not be seen by others. Least of all seen by those who would truly care for them. We are human and as such we are nothing but flaws all wrapped up in a sack of flesh. This is what people don't realize. So until people start looking inside and seeing what real beauty is this will be a reason I hate society.
