Tears of Asifa

Tears of Asifa

A Poem by Jgi

Tears of Asifa

Neither I desire penalty
Nor any justice,
Give me a ounce of peace
From all these mortifying mockery.

How can I tenor
When countless more feeble Asifas,
Tossed daily into salacious altars
Decieving every approvers retinas.

My feeble heart cannot endure
Gushing tears of mother and father,
Inflict me unfathomable pain
And strangle me over and over again.

Seven days witnessed my abduction
Agonizing as they were,
Cannot eclipse my abomination
For vultures breeding loathsome chirr
From my grave’s dust.

Halt your talks of justice
Stop your hollow appeal,
Look down your soul rustic
And see, what do you really feel.

No hangman’s noose or sword’s slice
Can end this exorbitance,
Only cleansing the stallion’s heinous head
Can butcher this profane vice.
