I rolled my eyes as Ms. Hytren kept rambling on about the play we were going to be doing. Try outs were tomorrow. The co-directer of the play was a girl named Taria. She had written the play about a month ago. Taria seemed to glow as she passed out the copies of the script she had printed up for everyone in drama club. Oh, drama club. I love acting. Yes, I know. I sound like a dork. I mean most guys go for sports. I couldn't be good at sports even if it was to save my life. Nope. No way.

I scanned through the copy I had been given. Naturally I would try out for the lead part with probably little competition. Only seven guys in drama club surrounded by many girls. I know it's sad. I ran a hand through my shaggy sandy blond hair as I turned by attention to Ms. Hytren. Ms. Hytren is the drama club teacher. She kept rambling on about how great of a job Taria did and how proud she is that some one wrote such a great play. I had to roll my eyes at that.

Just as Ms. Hytren started to talk about the plot the doors to the auditorium flew open. A short and rather scrawny girl walked in silently. Her dark brown hair covered her left eye. A couple of streaks of blue could be seen through her hair. A faint smile of her pale face. Her eyes looking down at the ground.

Ms. Hytren smiled at the girl. "Hello deary. You're the new student, right? Juliet Bovan? Did you just arrive from the air port? You didn't have to come so soon. There was always tomorrow. You could of settled your self first. Might as well take a seat now that you're here though." She said with a bright smile as she looked at the girl.

The girl that Ms. Hytren had just called Juliet nodded slightly. "Yes ma'am. You're correct in all points." She said in a quiet voice as she looked up at Ms. Hytren. A small smile was on her face as she took a seat in the back, five seats over to the left of me.

I looked strangely at her. She looked different. Juliet? What type of name was that? A rather old one. Not to mention the cruel jokes people here might say to her. I mean seriously. Juliet was the name of a love stricken girl in one of Shakespeare's plays who ended up killing her self in the name of love. Her pale green eyes were on Ms. Hytren as she repeated when try out were. I could see Taria give Juliet a copy of the play out of the corner of my eye.

"Now there are many minor parts. Mostly for the girls since we have more of them. There also happens to be two main character parts and two co-main parts. The lead female role of Ralina will be difficult to many who can't freely act a feeling out of no where.. Then there is the lead male part of Gregory. Who ever tries out for Gregory has to be able to fake a Southern accent. Then the co-main part are characters named Danny and Faera. Both those parts need to be some on who can laugh obnoxiously in unfunny parts yet keep a straight face while saying something utterly random or stupid. I'll give you guys a bit to scan through it to see if you guys want to be any of the many parts. If not there's the stage crew." Ms. Hytren said loudly before siting on the wooden stage. Her eyes scanning through the seats at every one.

I sighed as I continued to scan through my copy of the play. For sure I'd try out for Gregory. As I scanned through I almost laughed. There were even songs written in here for certain parts. There also most of been like five guy parts all together and the rest to the ladies. Eh. Taria wasn't a bad play write. She actually did pretty good. The play was pretty realistic, besides the singing...

Ms. Hytren smiled as Taria came back around to grab the copies from all of us. "Tomorrow you will have the script to read a part from a character your trying out for. Be here after school. Club dismissed." She then said waving us all off.

Juliet seemed to get out of the room before any one else could. Soon the auditorium was empty again. I stood out side with some of the other kids. We were all goofing off and saying which part we wanted.

"I'm going for Ralina!" Sofie, a bleach blond haired senior said rather proudly as if she knew she'd get the part. I flashed her a toothy grin as she smiled at me and winked.

Angela, a tall orange haired girl standing next to Sofie, smiled."Well, I'm going for one of the Minor parts. Hm. I say I go for the teacher, Mrs. Donhaven wasn't it?" She said smiling slightly. Angela never tried out for any parts that were huge or even close to it despite she was great at acting and singing.

"Eh. I want to be part of the stage crew." Tammy said as she braided a bit of her long flowing black hair. "I would hate having to act on stage. I get frightened easily when I see the crowd." She said shuddering. I laughed a bit remembering the last play when she had a part with on line and she screwed it up so badly, even if the audience laughed thinking it was part of the play.

My best friend Seth laughed a bit. "I think I'll either be Danny or part of the stage crew." He said with a sigh. "So much presser." He muttered as he ran his hand through his bleach blond hair. You could tell he was Sofie's cousin. "Charlie, who are you trying out for?" He then asked raising an eye brow.

I smirked a bit. "Gregory. What else would I try out for? You know me." I said rather arrogantly, I think. Not like I care much. I have a right to sound like that.

Sofie practically squealed. "Perfect!" She said in a high pitch voice. A smile on her face. I just rolled me eyes. Could she make her obsession with me any more obvious.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a small figure sitting by the edge of the school parking lot. The figure was looking around. Possible she was looking for her ride home. Yup. It was a girl. Not just any girl. The new girl, Juliet.
