WE

WE

A Poem by Sanat Aryal
"

It is a piece of poetry which just erupted as lava from my brain, drained through heart and flowed with my fingers. It deals with the happy world without the letter "I".

"

A sigh of darkness just passed away

Serene musical chores waved

As if there are no sobs of fears

No stains of tears left over

A fierce agony just burnt to ashes

Love waltzed in a beautiful song

As if there are no scars of stabs

No scratches of nails noticed

An evil greed just buried in boneyard

Smiley flowers spread aromas

As if there are no foes existed

No traces of aversion

Solely “We” emerged, not “I”

Today, a slaved ego just drowned.

When one finds a belief, or construct, that satisfies, it does feel just like you say in your poem. Like a switch being pressed all the 'darkness', 'sobs of fear' 'fierce agony', 'scars', 'scratches' and 'evil ', get replaced by the aroma of flowers. I love the metaphor at the end...'a slaved ego just drowned' and one finds one is not alone. Good write.

dear Sanat...when we watch a sunrise in the Spring, we smile sweetly, and so it is with love... a new beginning and flowers 🌺 burst forth with gentle persuasion. Amen... truly, Pat

Hi Patricia,
Thank You a lot for your valuable words.
I enjoy the manner you convey an ego-death experience however the wording seems a bit forced.
