Tidal waves

Splash...

As my head becomes submerged 

Everything goes silent 

Every thought of fear, heartache, depression,

or anxiety 

Has slowly drifted away 

My mind becomes as clear as the ocean 

I feel free! 

Alone but comforted 

The salt filled waves hug 

me as If i was meant to stay there

But I know I'll have to 

return to the disasters 

of the real world
