Loveless Silicon

Loveless Silicon

A Poem by Sam

A jasmine eye
Yet blinded by
A simple pose
Of lips of rose
A sin to bite
Nails of white
Or scratch the skin
Deep within

Cycles of complexity, a build of loveless silicon.
It is beautiful - the ones and zeros falling perfectly into place.
The awesome heft of technologically superior hardware,
A web-like framework constructed for our pleasure.

It reeks of blood,
A simple flood.
Remorseless chill,
Is waiting still
For gentle peace,
Or soft release
From this numbing
Tempest's sting.
