Definately powerful poem! I can relate to it so well. Its true its difficult to get away from evil..the darkness it can give.. in our own soul. Having hatred.. and sadness... and all the negative feelings, it'll tear us apart. It'll bring us to the pit. I love the message here. ^^ I seek peace and light in my own soul..myself.. i'm not there yet.. but hopefully i'll get there someday. ^o^ this was inspiring!
powerful call to the light with the understanding that change must begin within each individual before it can extend outward and benefit all~ well done!
I agree completely with the wonderful truthful write.
But how are you supposed to offer your hand to a world that won't grab hold to it?
This poem is very true, but the hate in this world over powers the love.
Its much easier to hate someone than to love them.
But then again thats just my opinion.
Great write you did a terrific job with the feeling.
If one person calls you a donkey, ignore him
If a second one calls you a donkey, it’s time to buy a saddle and ride
An old Yiddish saying I believe, however some weight this holds.
It is much easier for us to hate the hated, than love the unloved
Pondering your write (repugnance) comes to mind.
Understanding where hatred is birthed is indeed the first place to start. You have captured this with much wisdom that we are all born with, yet seem to lose or misplace as the years pass.
“We must rid the evil,
That lies within us.”
“We must fight for freedom”
Other's and their actions are not just the chains which enslave us - There is no excuse why each of us can’t make our own dent from within. Perceptions viewed…
“Release our selves from our own hell,”
As individuals we all have a part, starting within. Yes we create our own hell. We want what we don’t have. We are always attacking ourselves. Creating who we are from what were not.
Wonderful and enlightening write – Might be a little easier to understand if we could create a step by step manual.
If I might add a few corrections…
We must bring fourth (forth) a new world,
Fight the dorment (dormant) evil inside,
Release our selves (ourselves) from our own hell,
Thanks again for the write.
