How are your memories?

A Memory

A memory is a watercolor painting
when received with love and respect
is carried to a place of honor
on the wall of the mind
beautiful to behold
increasing in worth
over the years.

The rejected memory is a watercolor painting
weathered out of the heart
by the rain and sun
of our consciousness
multi-hues thinned by water
and time
bleached and faded
by the relentless, scorching rays
of anger and pain
disappearing altogether
over the years.

You know what this is so creative....

Each is a piece of art.. just as this piece is art...

I have some rejected memories those boogers just wont fade..

The way you decided to express this is creative and wise...
