Light

Light

A Poem by Samuel Southwell

As I looked out from the darkness.
I saw a guiding light.
A voice in my head shouted.
You must follow the light.
And I had to agree.
Yes I must follow the light.
Weather it lead me to Heaven
or lead me to Hell.
It is better then living in the darkness
That has become my home.

I know what it feels like to want to leave the darkness and come to light. Very well written. Thanks for entering my contest and good luck.
