The Woods

I'm lost in deep thought,

I reflect on what I have been taught,

I sit and think about the world today,

I'm at a lost for words to say,

I can't believe were we are headed,

I know the end is coming I've dreaded,

We can't save the world in one day,

That does not mean we should stray,

Keep your mind on the truth,

Search in your mind for proof,

I want you to know I'm alright,

I slip out to the woods at night,

If I don't ever return,

I can't deny that for which I yearn.
