Truth

Truth

A Poem by Samuel H. Ludke

Lost in time my mind has become,
It hurts so much. it has become numb.
I see so much chaos and fear,
I see many scoff and jeer.
I see that many have a lot to lose,
They hang themselves with the noose.
They watch us now for the other side,
They  laugh there from the other side.
They cannot solve the problem,
Our Earth will shatter, forget the green thumb.
You can't save a planet,
You can't go to the internet,
You can't save go back and start over,
You can't when your six feet under.
The time is now to act,
The time is now to behave,
The time is now to live,
The time is now to love,
The time is now to be,
Death is the end, we'll see,
Death is a doorway to eternity.
You and I won't come back,
Burn money, forget the stack,
You couldn't take it if you could,
Sorry, in heaven your money is no good.
Try to fathom for just a minute,
That soon Earth for forget you for good.
