To my future Kids: Time Capsule

To my future Kids: Time Capsule

A Poem by Samuel H. Ludke

Just gotta say to my kids,
I'm not that great at those math grids.
My love for you will always be,
When I'm gone I hope you'll see.
You're here yet, but when you are,
You'll never forget how much a care.
I want you to have a father,
I'll always be there, no foster.
You gotta know I worked hard for you,
I love your mother, yes it's true.
Someday when you're big and grown,
I'll be proud to call you my own.
Don't forget I'm watching over you,
Don't you cry and don't be blue.
You'll always be in daddy's heart,
From the ending to the start.
